Projects worth Rs 126.24 Cr to be inaugurated in March

District Administration, Budgam today said that projects worth Rs. 126.24 crores are ready to be inaugurated by the end of March, in the district.The Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani said that work on 24 major projects costing Rs. 47.75 crores have been completed which will be inaugurated by February 2020 while other 15 projects coming up at Rs. 78.29 crores are in final stage of completion ready to be inaugurated by ending March.He said that these projects include MOs quarter, NTPHCs, KGVB schools, hostel building, school buildings, bridges, WSSs, roads, IT buildings, sports fields, power lines, receiving and grid stations, besides foundation stones will be laid for three mega projects coming up at Rs 12.80 crore including two 100 bed hospitals at Narbal and Khansaheb augment health services in the district.Besides, the work on the projects approved under Capex, languishing, B2V2 and SAMAGRA being executed by various agencies including JKHB, R&B, SAMAGRA, SICOP, SIDCO, JKPHC, PHE and YSS is in full swing. The ADC directed the executing agencies to ensure that work on 115 languishing projects is completed by the end of 2020. He directed the concerned officers to work in coordinated to ensure timely completion of developmental projects across the district.
