The Union Minister of State for Culture & Tourism (Independent Charge), Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated a Water Conservation system and Babycare & Feeding Room todayat the premises of Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh today.The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has urged the people of the country to join hands for water conservation and create a Jan-andolan along the lines of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Accordingly, the Union Culture Minister inaugurated the Water Conservation System which in its first turn put about 10000 litre of polluted water coming out of RO System into the old well located in the premises of theheritage site. Shri. Prahlad Singh Patel also inaugurated Babycare and Feeding room in Taj Mahal for the convenience of female tourists.During the programme, the Minister also paid visit to the existing museum located inside the Taj Complex and explored the galleries preserving elements of precious artefacts, paintings and other works; along with Member of Parliament, Agra, Shri S P Singh Baghel andFatehpurSikri, Shri Raj Kumar Chahar and ASI officials. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel urged all the officials and citizens alike to take a vow for keeping our iconic heritage sites clean and making it accessible for all visitors.
