Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Dr. Rajeev Bindal participated in the executive committee meeting of CPA (Common Wealth Parliamentary Association) at New Delhi, today.Speaking in the meeting, Dr. Bindal informed about the efforts made by Himachal Pradesh State in introducing e-Vidhan for smooth functioning of the Assembly. He said that he was keen to share the e-Vidhan model with other states also for uninterrupted functioning of other Assemblies and strengthening the democratic process in the country.Earlier, a national conference of Speakers was held in Lok Sabha which was presided by Speaker, Lok Sabha Om Birla and 24 Speakers of various Assemblies including Himachal Pradesh participated in it.Detailed discussions were held about zero hour, functioning of Assembly session, its duration besides deliberations about making the Assemblies more effective for the benefit of people.
