District Grievances Redressal Committee's Meeting Conducted Under Minister Gurpreet Singh Kangar

The meeting of District Grievances Committee was held under the Minister for Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Mr Gurpreet SIngh Kangar wherein members from various sections of society highlighted different developmental works and problems of the district.Later, while talking to the media persons Mr Kangar said that the Punjab government was committed to providing employment opportunities to the youth of Punjab. Government is soon coming out with 1200 posts of patwaris. Filling these posts will not only ensure better revenue governance but will also provide employment to the youth. Responding to a media query on impact of Jammu and Kashmir division vis-à-vis reaction of Pakistan affecting peace of Punjab he said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh the peace and harmony of state remains undisturbed and will continue to do so.Earlier, while addressing the members of District Grievances Redressal Committee he said discussed various developmental works being done in the district. He directed all the officers and employees to ensure that the advantages of various government schemes should reach every needy individual. He also directed that the issues discussed at the meeting should be resolved within next 15 days.Deputy Commissioner Mrs Apneet Riyait apprised of various developmental works going on in the district. Committee members shared the issues of re-verification of ration cards to which Minister Mr Kangar responded that the work be done in transparent manner. Talking on the issues of carcass centers (hadda rodi) he said that already the Chief Minister has formed three members committee of cabinet ministers. The decision taken by this committee will be applicable in Mansa as well. On the issues of safety of school children traveling in the schools' vans, he directed that all schools be asked to depute conductors and ensure safety of school vans.MP Rajya Sabha Mr Balwinder Singh Bhunder, MLA Mr Najar Singh Manshahia, SSP Dr Narinder Bhargava, ADC (G) Mr Rajdeep Singh Brar, ADC (D) Mr Gurmeet Singh Sidhu, assistant commissioner Mr Navdeep Kumar, SDM Mansa Mr Abhijeet Kaplish, SDM Budhlada Mr Aditya Dechalwal, SDM Sardulgarh Mr Latif Ahmed, Congress leader Dr Manoj Bansal and others were also present.
