e-constituency system will help in redressing public grievances effectively : Dr. Rajeev Bindal

Speaker, HP Vidhan Sabha Dr. Rajeev Bindal today held a meeting with the Chief Secretary and other senior officers of the state government to make them aware about the e-constituency management and e-committee systems developed by the state Vidhan Sabha.He said that e-constituency management system has been implemented in 18 Assembly segments of the state and office heads at the district and sub-division level have been provided user ID and passwords so that they can redress the public grievances with the help of the MLAs.The speaker said that the MLAs would be connected with e-Vidhan mobile and web dashboard under this software to enable them to monitor the correspondence and action taken on various developmental works in their respective areas.Dr. Bindal said that the e-committee system has been developed to make paperless correspondence between various committees of the Vidhan Sabha and government departments. The status of pending cases, previous record, reports and suggestions can be viewed online through this software.Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary B.K Agarwal said that this initiative by the state Vidhan Sabha would go a long way in ensuring public welfare. It would help in maintaining better co-ordination between the public representatives and officers of the state government.Additional Chief Secretaries Anil Khachi, Nisha Singh, Sanjay Gupta and R.D Dhiman, Principal Secretaries and head of various departments attended the meeting.
