After Jan Manch, CM Helpline will be another effective initiative to redress public grievances : Jai Ram Thakur

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the Chief Minister Helpline (Him Sewa) would prove very effective in redressing the public grievances and they would also not require visiting the government offices repetitively for getting their works done.He was addressing the training workshop on Chief Minister's Helpline organised here today by the Information Technology department for various departments of the Shimla Division through video conference from Ahmedabad.Jai Ram Thakur said that the Chief Minister Helpline is being started as per the budget assurance of the state government that will help in saving the precious time and money of the general public.  He directed the officers to make all efforts to make this Helpline a big success.The Chief Minister added that Jan Manch programme initiated by the state government has proved to be another successful medium in providing relief to the masses by reaching out directly to them.

Principal Secretary, Information and Technology Jagdeesh Chander said that complaints relating to all departments would be registered under this Helpline and it would be ensured that the complaints are addressed at the earliest. This Helpline would register the complaints through and demands through call centre and all relevant information regarding the officers of all the departments would be available on it. He said that an app of this Helpline would be started and feedback and suggestions of the people would also be taken through this service.Director, Information and Technology Roahn Chand Thakur said that action would be taken on block, district, departments and CM office level on the complaints. The offices of the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary would monitor the Helpline which would remain active from 7 AM to 10 PM.He said that similar type of workshops would be soon organised at Kangra and Dharamshala.
