Chief Minister Jai Thakur called upon the people to vote for Narendra Modi once again to make him the Prime Minister once again by keeping the national interest in the forefront so that the country can get a strong leadership. He was addressing a massive election rally organized in favour of BJP candidate Suresh Kashyap from Shimla parliamentary constituency at Nerwa in district Shimla.The Chief Minister said that in response to the terrorist attacks in Udi and Pulwama, the Modi Government responded by making surgical and air strikes and thereby made it clear that India will not refrain from taking strict action against those who raise eye on unity and integrity of the country. He said that Modi Government has done historic work to end corruption and terrorism.Jai Ram Thakur said that the BJP is getting huge support even in the state and the people of the state have once again decided to form the Modi government. He said that the state BJP Government has ensured overall development of the state during its short tenure so far. Various schemes have been started for the welfare of the people and lakhs of families are getting benefit from this.He said that the Modi government has started many welfare schemes for the people of the country in its five years tenure, by which every section of the society is benefitting and living its life with dignity. He said that around 50 crore people of the country have been given the free medical treatment facility under Ayushman Bharat Yojana whereas under Ujjawala Yojana, almost all the households have been provided free LPG connections.The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to safeguard the interests of the fruit growers especially the apple growers and many more steps would be taken in the future to ensure their welfare.
