Srinagar Police was successfull in catching a thief who was in habit of stealing vehicles and recovered one stolen maruti and bike so far.On written Complaint of One Irfan Ahmad Ganie S/O. Ab Qayoom Ganie R/O.Yari-Kalan Chadoora,in which he Stated that one suspect person was trying to steal his Maruti-800 at Karan Nager.On reciveing the Complaint, FIR No. 16/2019 U/S 379,511RPC of Stands registerd in Police Station Karanagar and investigation set in motion.Investigating team led by SHO Karanagar Inspector Shri G M Rather under the supervision of SDPO Shaheedgunj Shri Imran Malik-JKPS during investigation nabbed one Suspected Person namely Ab Hamid Mir SO. Ab Rahim Mir R/O Rawal Pora Budgam on SpotDuring investigation/questioning of the said suspect One White Colour Maruti ,Red Colour Bike, two master keys and one wooden Scale was recoverd on his disclosure from Karanagar.Investigation is on and more arrests/recoveries are expected.General public has applauded this prompt police action.
