Mission Tandrust punjab -5.50 lac trees to be planted by NGOs of Amritsar : Kahan Singh Pannu

To commemorate the  550th Birth year of Guru NANAK Dev, pb Govt  has decided to plant 550 trees in each village. In the same way NGOs of Amritsar lead by Parkash Singh Bhatti of khuda e khidmatgar  under the patronage of Kahan Singh Pannu mission director Tandrust Punjab mission, district administration of Amritsar and commanders of khassa and Armoured contonements  Amritsar  have  decided to plant 5.50 lac trees. The NGOs which have pooled their resources include Geeta Sewa Society, the Sukhmani Sewa Society, Bhai Ghanaya Ji Sewa society and charitable  society called Madad of the  Khanna Paper Mills of Amritsar. The  inauguration of tree plantation drive was done  today by k s pannu IAS  by planting a tree in khassa near Amritsar.  Speaking on the occasion Sh Pannu exhorted the people to plant and save maximum trees so that we can breathe fresh air. Sh Bhatti stated that they will complete the plantation of 5.50 lac trees by Oct 2019 for which all resources have been tied up. Speaking on the occasion commander 54th battalion Brig A K Singh SM  stated that military shall provide full support to the tree plantation  drive. Deputy Commissioner Amritsar K S Sangha while planting a tree extended full support to the drive.
