Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kishan Kapoor has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Finance Minister Piyush Goyal for presenting the people welfare and development-oriented budget which is going to realise the dream of grand India. Kishan Kapoor said that provision has been made in this budget for welfare of all sections of the society. He said that this is an excellent budget for middle class, poor and farmers. Announcing the limit of income tax exemption in the budget to rupees five lakh is a commendable step. At the same time, the decision not to impose tax up to income of Rs 6.5 lakh is also a bold decision.He said that the new scheme 'Pradhan Mantri Krishi Samman Nidhi' has been announced to provide Rs 6,000 per annum to farming families having cultivable land up to 2 hectares. The establishment of 'National Kamdhenu Commission' for the conservation and promotion of cows is also a welcome step.Kishan Kapoor said that provision of Rs 3 lakh crore has been made for defense sector for the first time. He said that this budget that will fulfill New India's dreams. The announcement of the Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana to provide social security to unorganized sector workers is a historic initiative as workers will be given monthly pension of Rs 3,000 after the age of 60 yearsTaking a dig at the leaders opposing the budget, he said that those who ruled 60 years are now peeping at the sides. This government has done so much for the poor of the country which has not been done in the last 65 years.
