In a recently held Press conference, State BJP President & MP Shwait Malik proclaimed that BJP personnel have nothing to do with elections as they are always ready to work for the welfare of the country. While steering the allegations on Captain Amrinder Singh and his cabinet, MP avowed that they are deceiving the public of Punjab by not showing the report card of Congress’s working in the state. This report card has been revealed by High court which clearly exhibited the rise of drugs in the province. Malik also mentioned that the promises of Congress before elections went vague and nothing effective executed in the state. On the flip side, Shwait Malik applauded the workings of Modi led government in the center. Central government passed budget of 500 crores for the development of smart cities in Punjab but nothing has been implemented yet. Even the local body minister, Navjot singh Sidhu is busy in earning money in a reality show instead of performing his duty.Drawing more attention towards Punjab’s critical situation, Malik pointed the pledges of congress which included 3.2 million jobs, 5 million cell phones, loan waiver of 90000 crores, pensions for old age and widows and much more. The price of fuel in Punjab is sky-rocketed which has given birth to Oil Mafia and the revenue is being transferred to congress which should be used for benefit of the state.BJP state President affirmed that BJP will again conquer upcoming 2019 elections under the guidance of Narendra Modi. Co-convener of Media Harvinder Sandhu, Janardan Sharma and Laali Sakhi were present on the occasion.
