'All the arrangements are up to the mark for the Shaheedi Sabha to be commemorated from 26th to 28th December and this year District Administration has setup four shelter homes for devotees, specially for Senior citizens, Ladies, Children and Differently abled persons.' This was disclosed by Shivdular Singh Dhillon, Deputy Commissioner, Fatehgarh Sahib and Alka Meena, SSP while addressing a joint press conference here at central control room established near Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. The Deputy Commissioner disclosed that these night shelters have been established at Baba Banda Singh Bahadar Engineering College, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, K.V. School Bassi Road and in front of District Administrative Complex.He said that for the first time shelter homes for the devotees have been set up at different locations, where the devotees would be provided accommodation free of cost. Medical facilities would be available round the clock, 14 Ambulances would be kept on emergency duty, besides this 24 hours power supply, clean drinking water, 300 temporary and 15 mobile toilet facilities have been set up. He said no one would be allowed to use loud speakers to attract devotees at Langar sites. 

He disclosed that on December 25 movie 'Char Shahibzade' would be screened at Aam Khas Bagh and on December 26 and 27 plays 'Main Tera Banda' and 'Sirhind Di Diwar' would be played. The movie and the plays would start at 06:00 P.M. An exhibition would also be organized at DAC. He called upon the pilgrims to maintain the religious sanctity of the Sabha.Alka Meena, SSP said that to keep a close watch on criminals and anti social elements 300 CCTV cameras had been installed. She disclosed that more than 03 thousand police personnel have been deployed for security purpose and management. She further said that to facilitate devotees, district police had launched a mobile App 'Shaheedi Sabha-2018', which would help the devotees to get all sort of information such as parking places, medical facilities, first aid posts, temporary bus stands, alternative routes during heavy rush, information booths, observation posts, enquiry centers and important sites. Besides it would also facilitate to lodge the complaints regarding missing persons and their belongings.
