While presiding over the meeting to review for the preparedness of ‘Jan Aabhar Rally’ to be held at Dharamshala on 27 December on completion of one year in office of the present state government, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur directed for making proper arrangements for making the rally a success and it should be ensured that there is minimum inconvenience to the general public.The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure that exhibitions to be displayed by different departments should be informative and should be displayed in attractive manner. The thrust should be on highlighting various ongoing projects in the state which are being executed with central assistance.

Jai Ram Thakur said that effective arrangements should be made to ensure adequate supply of drinking water and packed food for the beneficiaries invited to attend the rally. He said that foolproof traffic plan should be prepared so that the general public does not face any inconvenience. He said that LCD/LED screens should be installed at strategic places besides the rally ground for best view of the rally.Chief Secretary B.K.Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretaries Dr. Shrikant Baldi and Nisha Singh, Principal Secretary J.C.Sharma, Secretary Education Dr. Arun Sharma, Secretaries, Heads of Departments and other senior administrative and police officers attended the meeting.
