Tamanna of Gian Jyoti Global School Shines in 64th School State Games U-17

Gian Jyoti Global School Student brought laurels to the school by winning 4 Gold Medals at 64th School State Games U-17 held at Patiala. Tamanna Sharma of Class X won 4 Gold Medals in Balancing Beam, Uneven Bar, Vaulting Table and as all round Best in Gymnastics.Tamanna Sharma is also got selected for National School Games-2018 which will held at Tripura from 15 December to 19 December. Along with Tamanna 3 other students of Gian Jyoti have been got selected for Nationals 2018.Gurvir Kaur of Class XI (Non-Medical) got selected in Swimming; Mohit Rana of Class X got selected in Handball and Prabhleen Kaur of Class 3rd got selected in Skating.  Ms. Ranjeet Bedi, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School congratulated all the students for their achievements and their proud parents. She further said that other students should get motivation to take part in such extracurricular activities. Such activities provide a platform to showcase their hidden talent. Sports give us a sense of discipline, respect for others and national pride. Such Championships or Initiatives would help the country to uplift the sports standards of the country, she added. She also congratulated the proud parents of the student.
