Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology organized a  Plantation Drive on the occasion of World Environment Day under  the theme of Grow Green Go Green at its campus in Phase-2, Mohali. Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT along with teachers joined hands with its Rotaractors to make the college premises green and clean.Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT while speaking on the occasion said that the objective of celebrating Environment Day was to make younger generation more sensitive towards environmental protection and emphasized on the need to build a greener world. The young generation should feel its responsibility and come forward with commitment and perform.J.S.Bedi Chairman Gain Jyoti  Group   said that due to the axing of trees from the planet, the problem of global warming had erupted. To tackle the problem of pollution and global warming, we need ti plant more and more trees every year. every year many  saplings are planted in the campus, which not only  beautify the surroundings but also lead to a greener, more eco-friendly and pollution-free environment.
