Jai Ram Thakur dedicates developmental projects worth Rs. 83 crores in Haroli Assembly Constituency

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that a major IPH scheme worth Rs. 27 crores has been posed for BRICS funding to cover twenty villages in Haroli Assembly constituency of Una district and Una-Rampur-Haroli-Jialo road would also be sent for CRF funding for this constituency. He was addressing a largely attended public meeting at Palkwah in Haroli Assembly segment on Sunday.The Chief Minister said that the Himachal Pradesh was fortunate to have benevolence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the state has succeeded in getting developmental projects worth Rs. 9000 crores sanctioned during a short tenure of about ten months. Not only this, the Centre provided helicopters to rescue 800 students from Holi in Chamba and people stranded in Lahaul valley due to untimely snowfall in the month of September.He said that the Opposition in the State was disintegrated and its leaders were busy in fighting the battle of supremacy within the party. On the other hand, the central government under the dynamic leadership of Narendra Modi was committed to make India a world power. Today, all the super powers of the world were acknowledging Narendra Modi as the world leader and India as a world power. The union government has also started Ayushman Bharat scheme under which free Insurance cover up to Rs. 5 lakh was being provided to about 10 crore families of the country.

The Chief Minister said that the Jan Manch programme of the state government has proved a boon to the people for redressal of their grievances nearer to their homes. The state government has provided around 30,000 free gas connections to poor families under Grihini Suvidha Yojana. He said that in order to provide self employment opportunities to the youth of the state, subsidy up to 30 per cent was being provided under Mukhiya Mantri Swablamban Yojna.Jai Ram Thakur said that drug abuse was emerging as a biggest social problem which needed to the curbed immediately. He urged the parents and teachers to keep watch on abnormal behaviour of the children. He said that a de-addiction centre would be opened in Haroli Vidhan Sabha area.He said that today developmental projects worth over Rs. 83 crore were dedicated in Haroli assembly segment today. He announced Rs. 8.67 crore for construction of Pranav-Balibal-Pubowal road, Rs 3.15 crore for Lalri-Kangrath road, Rs 6.87 crore for Tahliwal-Beetan-Singha road, rupees one crore for construction of bridge over Chandipur Khad and rupees one crore as additional amount for construction of Senior Secondary School Palkwah building. He also announced opening of PHC at Saloh.The Chief Minister said that four drinking water schemes worth Rs. 10 crore would be posed for funding to ADB to solve water problem of the area.

Earlier, the Chief Minister laid foundation stone of upgradation work of Gurplah-Gondpur road up to Food Park to be completed at a cost of Rs. 1.88 crore and 41.50 meter long box cell bridge over Bathri Khud on Tahliwal-Bathri road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.53 crore.He also laid foundation stones of lift water supply  scheme for several villages at Palkwah and lift irrigation scheme for Panjuwara, Dhugge, Nagnoli, Pandoga, Badehra, Panjwar and Bathri villages to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.08 crore and Rs 6.87 crore respectively.The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed 773.30 meter high level bridge over Swan river on Rampur-Haroli road constructed at a cost of Rs 33 crore. He also inaugurated 62.3 meter Cause Way bridge over Khad Channel on Panjwar-Bathri road constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.78 crore and Cause Way Bridge over Nagnoli Khad for Nagnoli village constructed by spending an amount of Rs. 2.09 crore. He  laid foundation stone of Jol-Kainth road via Bhroon and Amroh-Dharun Kuhru road to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10.33 crore and foundation stone of upgradation of Nandpur-Mairi  road to be completed at a cost of Rs. 24.07 crore.Jai Ram Thakur provided free gas connections to eligible families under the Mukhiya Mantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana. Several individuals, NGOs and Organisations presented cheques to the Chief Minister towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

State BJP President Satpal Satti said that the ten months tenure of the state government has witnessed unprecedented development in all the spheres without any discrimination. The government has also ensured that works on all the developmental projects sanctioned by the Centre get started. He said that all the households were being provided free gas connection and as many as one lakh free gas connections would be provided to make Himachal Pradesh as the first state with smoke-free kitchens.Member of Parliament Anurag Thakur said that the centre government has approved developmental projects worth Rs. 9000 crore for the state. The pervious state government even failed to utilise funds allocated for the state by the government of India and several projects such as IIIT, central university, railway line, AIIMS and national highways could not takeoff due to the negative politics of the previous government. It was during the tenure of the present government that all these projects have seen light of the day.Anurag Thakur said that National Highways worth Rs. 22,000 crore were sanctioned by the central government for Hamirpur parliamentary constituency alone. He said that classes in IIIT, Saloh would start soon as work has been expedited on construction of new building of the institution.Vice Chairman, State Industrial Development Corporation Prof. Ram Kumar said that the people of Haroli were thankful for the Chief Minister for dedicating developmental projects worth crores of rupees for the area. He said that the law and order situation in Haroli was out of control during the tenure of the previous government. He also detailed various developmental demands of the area.Mandal BJP President Jaswinder welcomed the Chief Minister and others present on the occasion.Vice Chairman, HIMUDA Praveen Sharma, MLA Rajesh Thakur, AMPC Chairman  Balbir Bagga and OSD to the Chief Minister Mahender Dharmani were present on the occasion among others.
