Describing BJP as the natural choice for the people who believe in secular ethos, plurality and single entity of Jammu and Kashmir, Former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly, Chander Prakash Ganga on Sunday expressed hope that the electorates will vote for the party to further the initiatives of Modi government towards Nation’s peace, progress and prosperity.The MLA, while appreciating the joining of Janak Raj Sharma, District President Kishan Cell National Conference along with other prominent leaders, said that this move certainly reflects the people’s resentment against the wrong policies and anti-people strategies of National Conference. “There are number of new entrants joining BJP who were working in the NC party since the past over 25 years”, he added saying that it would be an apt reply to those opportunist parties who does not believe in a true politics and exploit the people to satiate their vested interests.Welcoming the workers into the party fold, MLA exhorted them to fan out in their areas and continue to work as a bridge between the people and the government in seeking redressal to their problems. He said BJP will carry forward the mission chartered out by the Prime Minister, which stands for seeking a dignified and comfortable life for the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
“Bharatiya Janta Party is the only and natural choice for all right thinking people, who want to serve the State and steer it to peace, progress and all round development”, he asserted. He hoped that joining of right and public spirited people will infuse strength and a new vigor to the Caravan that is on path of achieving the cherished agenda of enhanced public services and development under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.The MLA urged the party functionaries to work for big victory to BJP, saying this is the only party that can take care of the three regions of the state and their sub-regions. The policies and programmes of the BJP have to be disseminated in the length and breadth of the state with focus on the achievements of Modi government, he asked the workers.“We aim at enhancing the quality of life by undertaking infrastructural development, ensuring public utility services and seeking partnership of people in decision making”, affirmed the MLA. He expressed satisfaction and a sense of pride over the achievements of BJP and said that the vision of Modi ji has instilled a sense of confidence among the people about better tomorrow.He reiterated his confidence that people of Jammu and Kashmir would ensure thumping victory to BJP in the ULB and Panchayat Elections and pave the way for political stability, inclusive development, peace and prosperity of the State which he added is the corner pillar of the political agenda of BJP.
He cautioned the people against divisive forces, propagandists elements and asked them to reject these forces in these Elections to safeguard State’s pluralistic ethos, communal harmony and solidarity.MLA appreciated the unprecedented enthusiasm in the people for these upcoming polls, especially the youth and said this spirit has to be channelized in proper direction.Ganga, while referring to the significance of holding of these elections, said that after the elections it will enable the state get the funds worth Rs.2600 crore, blocked in the Center due to non holding of civic and panchayat polls in J&K. “Successful conduct of these elections is of paramount importance to further accelerate the development process in the state”, he added.“Expenditure of Rs 100 crore on construction of roads alone in the Vijaypur Constituency under CRF candidly reflects the quantum of growth and evlopment here”, the MLA maintained.Others who joined BJP included Girdhari Lal Sharma, Dev Raj Kaku, Janak Raj Dolian,Sanjay Kumar, Yashpal Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Romesh Kumar, Surjeet Kumar, Raj Kumar, Subash Chander, Deepak Kumar, Shashi Pal, Tarsem Sangra, Rattan Singh, Sushma Choudhary, Rekhu, Darshana Kumari, Veena Devi, Updesh Kumari, kanta manhas and many other during a public meeting at Kartholi-B panchahyat.Prominent people present were Dr Puran Parkash, Ashok Sangra, Atresh Dutt, Pawan Bakshi, Tilak Raj Gupta, Jeet Raj Bhagat, Capt Bachan Lal, Gulshan Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar, Arjun Sharma and others.
