Art of Living Sends 60 Truckloads of Relief Material From All Over India To Kerala

With over a 1000 Yuvacharyas or youth volunteers of The Art of Living working round the clock in the flood ravaged areas of Kerala, The Art of Living has sent 60 truckloads of relief material comprising 500 tons of essential items including clothes,water, sanitary napkins, food staple and toiletries provided by Sri Sri Tattva, medicines and other essentials collected from the Art of Living International Center, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kolkata and other locations.“In these challenging times, let us all be brave and keep our strength and faith intact,” said Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder, The Art of Living, “Hold on to the faith that everything is going to be back to normal and everyone will overcome the fury of these floods. Lots of volunteers are doing plenty of service in the state. Let us all get together and serve more people.”As the death toll climbs in Kerala, 1000+ volunteers have stepped up their flood relief efforts reaching out to over 50,000 people in all 14 flood-affected districts. Volunteers have been working to shift people from affected areas to safety and providing them with food, water, clothes and other basic necessities and organizing medical camps. More trucks with relief material for Kerala are scheduled throughout this week. The Art of Living has set up collection points across the city.
