The Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav visited District Hospital Poonch and met persons who were injured in a road accident at Shahpur. He enquired about their well being and directed doctors to provide them best possible treatment.All the injured were travelling in a Tata Sumo when the accident occurred. The district administration coordinated the rescue operation and shifted the injured to District Hospital.The persons injured in the accident include Nazar Din S/o Attah Mohd age 50 years, Abdul Gani S/o Mohd Din age 32 years, Nazir Hussain S/o Mohd Bashir, age 42 years, Mohd Arif S/o Wali Mohd age 50 years, Mohd Usmaan S/o Zakir Hussain, all the resident of Village Shahpur Poonch. Nazar Mohd was shifted to GMC Jammu after preliminary treatment at District Hospital.Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner provided a relief assistance Rs 12000 to four injured under Red Cross @ of Rs 3000 per person.While interacting to the family members of the injured, the DC assured them every possible help would be extended to them by the district administration.Later, the DDC went around various wards of the Hospital and took stock of medical facilities being provided to the patients. He also interacted with patients to get feedback about the services being provided. He stressed on cleanliness of the wards and corridors besides maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation in the hospital.
