Minister for Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Javaid Mustafa Mir has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of a person who died due to the collapse of Kacha house at village Kurlian in Kalakote tehsil of Rajouri district yesterday.In his message, the Minister expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured and instructed the district administration to ensure quality treatment to the injured and provide all the medicines to him free of cost.The Minister said that soon after receiving the message about the tragic incident, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, was rushed to the spot where he handed over Rs 1 lakh to the NOKs of the deceased as relief assistance. The Minister has also directed the district administration to take up the case for reconstruction of the house under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on priority.It is pertinent to mention that in the sudden collapse of a kucha house at village Kurlian tehsil Kalakote in district Rajouri, one teenager Vinay Singh s/o Sunder Singh age 14 died on spot while another boy Vijay Singh S/o Babu Ram age 17 got injured. The injured is under treatment at District Hospital, Rajouri.
