Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions organized PRATIBHA-A Youth Fest at Phase-2, Mohali. As many as 2000 students from the colleges of Tricity, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal participated in cultural extravaganza. J.D.Ghai, CEO, SantaBanta.com was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The day started with seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and the lighting of the lamp.This year a new feature was added to PRATIBHA to showcase the cultural diversity across the world. students represented the culture of Punjab, Himachal, Rajasthan, Kashmir Kerala though their cultural exhibits. International students of Gian Jyoti from South Africa also represented their country in the exhibition.The event entered into a joyous state with the colorful & energetic performances by the participants. Students performed Ghoomer, Kashmiri Dance, Western Dance, Bhangra and many other performances included Lok geet/solo song (Punjabi/Hindi/English), Rap, Fashion Show, War of Words (Antaakshri), Colour-me-pretty (Face Painting), Mehndi- Rang De (Rangoli), Clay modelling, Hair Styling, Cross Talk, Brain Teasers, Dump Charades, Product Plan and Launch, Creativity in one minute (click games) & Lan Gaming.Chief Guest J.D.Ghai, appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of the students. 

He further added that such events provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent and share their knowledge in various cultural, technical and intellectual fields.According to him creativity is developed and honed by these competitions.In the end prizes were also distributed to the winners. Cross Talks won by Punjab University, Brain Teaser (Quiz) won by PG College, Sector-11, Chandigarh,  Product Plan and Launch won by GCCBA, Sector-50, CHandigarh, Dumb Charades won by Swift College, Creativity in one minute won by Shivalik Institute of Education and Research, LAN Gaming(NFS) and LAN Gaming(Counter Strike) won by G.G D.S.D., Sector-32, Chandigarh, Lok Geet / Solo Song won by GCCBA, Sector, 50, Rap won by Swift College, Color me pretty won by Shri Aurobindo College of Commmerce and Management, Ludhianan, Rang De Rangoli Competition won by Shivalik College of Education, Antakshri won by SGGS, Sectoe-26, Clay Modeling won by MCM DAV, Sector-36, Chandigarh and Hair Styling won by Govt. College, Phase-6, Mohali.J.S.Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group while speaking on the occasion said that such youth festival has equal significance as academic accomplishments. Chairman  Bedi added that active participation in such cultural and professional activities mitigates the stress level of the students and thereby this gives motivation to their overall personality grooming which has a special role to play in their professional life in the coming time.
