One of the pertinent questions that have been thrown up in current times is issues in the judiciary. Jaising was of the view that a lot depends on who you are inducting into the judiciary. “I have said that the Supreme Court is sitting on a volcano. Judiciary is in the dock in the eyes of the Janta Ka Adaalat,” she said. Without a free press and an independent judiciary, we are all lost, Jaising added.
