50th Annual Convocation Ceremony at RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala

The 50th Annual Convocation was organized in the premises of RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala on the 10th of March, 2018. On this occasion,  Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Rural Development Panchayats, Water Supply and Sanitation, Punjab Government, was invited as a Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were Sh. R.C. Jeewan, Member DAV CMC and Sh. B.K. Mittal, Secretary, DAV CMC. The ceremony started with the lighting of the candle followed by a hymn by the students of the Music Department. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neeru Chadha extended a hearty welcome to the Guests and presented a brief overview of the achievements of the college in academics, curricular and extra-curricular activities. 

Thereafter, degrees were conferred to the Post Graduate and Graduate students. A total of 801 students received degrees on this occasion.S. Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa spoke on the occasion and advised the degree holders to reach new heights of success and maintain dignity in their households. He sanctioned a grant of Rs. 15 Lacs for the development of the institution. Sh. R.C. Jeewan Ji, addressed the students and enlightened them with his words of wisdom and good wishes. He felicitated the Principal for the glorious achievements of the college. Sh. B.K. Mittal congratulated the students for the successful completion of their academic study and extended a vote of thanks. Mrs. Meenakshi Duggal (Convener) and Ms. Udesh Kumari (Co-Convener) carried out the function in an organized way.
