Minister for Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation and Reconstruction and Floriculture, Javaid Mustafa Mir, today reviewed arrangements being put in place by different departments for Maha Shivratri Haats at Jagti Migrant camp.The Minister took a detailed review of preparations being made by the departments to install their stalls for display and sale of their products in the Shivratri Haat during Shivratri celebration.While reviewing arrangements and steps taken by the department of Relief and Rehabilitation in this regard, the Minister said that the focus must be laid on ensuring all facilities for smooth and hassle free celebration of the festival.The Minister said that directions have been issued to all the concerned officers to ensure all facilities in the camps and non camp areas including supply of all essential items besides power and water supply.While greeting the people on the occasion of Maha Shivratri Javaid Mustafa expressed hope that the festival will bring peace and prosperity in the State.MLC, Surinder Ambardar, Relief Commissioner, M. L Raina, DC Relief, K.K Sidha, Director Sheep Husbandry, Chief Agricultural officer, Chief Horticulture officer, Joint Director Information Department Jammu, Joint Director Industries and Commerce, Joint Director Tourism Jammu, Joint Director Handicrafts Jammu, and other senior officers of Relief and Rehabilitation Department were present on the occasion.
