Arrangements in view of the Republic Day celebration were finalized today during a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Naqash.During the meeting, a thorough discussion regarding the seating arrangements, presentation of cultural programmes, Parade Presentation, Security arrangement, award Presentation besides other.It was given out that various Cultural programmes and special variety programmes will be presented by students from various schools, besides participants from Information department and Cultural academy. eanwhile, committees have already been put in place to look after different arrangements, like seating arrangements, refreshment, etc.The meeting was also informed that awards will be also distributed among persons with remarkable contributions in various fields. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner directed the Officers of R & B, PHE, PDD and other departments to nominate Nodal Officers for ensuring that all necessary arrangements related to the Republic Day celebration are completed efficiently. The Deputy Commissioner directed the Officers to ensure the presence of all employees during the function.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla Farooq Ahmad Baba, ASP Baramulla, Shafqat Hussain, Joint Director Planning, SE PMGSY, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, District Social welfare Officer,AD CAPD, Tehsildar Baramulla, Tehsildar HQ, ARTO, Officers from Police and Army, all district and Sectoral officers were present during the Meeting.
