Urban Development, Housing, Town, and Country Planning Minister  Sudhir Sharma today said that with a view to facilitate the people, the department is continuously strengthening its working and most of the services have been made online.He said the department has decided to deliver 11 more services online to the citizens including birth, death, marriage registration and certificates, BPL certificates, water supply connection and property tax payment, sewerage connection, NOC for electricity, Non PFA License, permissions of Canopy, dumping and tree felling.These services will also be available on dedicated app of the department besides e-district application, state portal and lokmitra kendras for proper monitoring and timely disposal.

The Minister said the website of the department is already available in Hindi language also to facilitate the common people and the information is being provided in English and Hindi languages.He said Himachal Pradesh is the first State of the country to provide all services of the TCP department online. Any person could take benefit of these e-services through online portal individually or through architect. The applicants are being provided certificates, registration certificates and digital map of the buildings etc. through e-mail. With the launch of e-services, the department has also benefited immensely and it has become almost paperless besides ensuring transparency in its functioning. This technical advancement has also helped in improving the citizen centric services in the State.
