Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Asiea Naqash, Sunday met various deputations of residents from different areas of the Hazratbal Constituency who called on her here.The deputations, which included those from Batpora, Rainawari, Nehru Park, Khoji Bagh, Onta Bhawan, Anchar, Ummer Hair, Rangpora and Dugpora areas, appraised the Minister about the status of ongoing developmental works underway in their areas and their respective concerns with regard to the development of their areas.The Minister assured the deputations that their demands would be appropriately addressed.Asiea was also called on by a deputation of Hazratlbal town street vendors, who appraised her of their concerns regarding their proposed relocation from their current location adjacent to the shrine here. She assured the deputation that they will be shifted to a suitable location, reiterating that the plan has been devised keeping in mind the larger interests of the area and its people.
