Ansari, ADC Babu Ram, ACR Abdul Satar and various officers of district administration and NHPC were present on the occasion. The issue of solar lights was raised before district administration by other devotees of Konsar Nag who undertake pilgrimage in far flug areas every year after covering very long distance on foot from Chasana. The lights would be utilized by the pilgrims at halting spot- Sarri where no other provision of light is available.Later, a meeting was also convened by DDC with NHPC in which modalities were discussed to provide solar lights in extreme left out areas. DDC instructed the Executive Engineer PDD for making a detailed survey of the uncovered areas so that NHPC is accordingly asked for solar lights. It is worthwhile to mention here that NHPC in the previous year has already provided solar light facility to over 100 households of Gan, Simbal Nadi, Khidib, Aas in Salal and some rural population residing near Jyotipuram which were not accessible by the power sector.
