DIG reviews functioning of IRP Battalion headquarters

Deputy Inspector General of Police IRP Range Jammu, Vijay Kumar today visited the Battalion Headquarters IRP-7th Bn Kot Bhalwal Seri and reviewed it's functioning.SSP Commandant IRP-7th, Mumtaz Ahmad along with SSP DyCo, Tabassum Parveen, SP (Quartermaster,) Master Popsy and DySP (Adjutant) Mansha Beig besides other officers of the Battalion were present on the occasion.DIG inspected the Battalion Headquarter, viz-a-viz Bn. Magazine, Coy kots, Admn Block, Jawan barracks etc and gave on spot directions regarding safe custody of arms ammunition, early completion of the task of digitization of records, speedy disposal of welfare loan/ GPF/ Pension /SRO cases and providing of better facilities to the jawans to improve their living standard.The DIG reviewed the progress of works on under construction buildings. He also interacted with GOs/ Incharge Heads of the Battalion and discussed various issues related to manpower, deployment of staff, infrastructure of the Battalion and welfare measures for jawans.
