Putia Honours Top Organizers Of “Technical Education Summit”

Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association (PUTIA) today organized an Award Distribution Ceremony in Mohali to honour the top Organizers of “Technical Education & Skill Development Summit” held recently. Dr Rajneesh Arora, VC, Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar was the Chief Guest on the occasion, whereas Dr J S Dhaliwal, President, PUTIA presided over the event. Dr Buta Singh, Dean (Academic), PTU, was also present on the occasion.

The Chancellors and Chairmen of various Universities & Colleges of Punjab including Mr. Manjeet Singh, Chairman, Doaba Group, Mr. Satnam Singh Sandu, Chancellor, CU, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Convener, PUTIA and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Dr.  Madhu Chitkara ,VC, Chitkara University etc were present in the function.On the occasion, the colleges, PTU and PUTIA Officials etc. were given awards who performed before and after the Summit to make it a successful event. Those who were honoured includes CGC; Aryans Group of Colleges; Chitkara; Rayat Bahra Group; Gyan Jyoti Group; Swift Group;  Quest Group of Institutes; Doaba Group of Institutes; Desh Bhagat Group; Sri Sukhmani Group; Adesh University; SUS Group of Institutes etc.Dr Rajneesh Arora speaking on the occasion said that it was due to the efforts of the Colleges only that the Summit went very well. Dr Arora added that being a first event of its kind, the Education Summit was an attraction not only for the Students, Staff and Management of all the Universities & Colleges of Punjab but also for the Govt. Officials of various Education Departments. It is to be mentioned that “Technical Education & Skill Development Summit” held recently in Mohali witnessed more than 50,000 students of around 400 Colleges.
