All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani while reiterating his demand for the return of mortal remains of both Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and  Mohamad Afzal Guru, said, although it is purely a human issue, India is very reluctant to this demand thereby violating all the principles of ethics and human values.Strongly criticizing state administration for clamping curfew like restrictions, curbs, crackdown against resistance leaders and arresting Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Nayem Ahmad Khan, Raja Meraj u Din, Mohamad Ashraf Laya, Mohamad Yasin Ataie, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder,Omer Adil Dar and scores of other activists, said that  state authorities will have to face people’s wrath and resentment and all these arbitrary arrests is  synonymous to disrespect for our brave hearts, Geelani Sahab said.Seeking the mortal remains of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Mohammad Afzal Guru, Syed Ali Geelani said that nation today pays homage to the valiant son of soil & while referring to last letter written by Shaheed Mohammad Afzal Guru, Hurriyat Chairman said that it clearly illustrates that he was an ideological person and his emotions were having the backing of faith, intellect and conscience. Hailing Mohammad Afzal Guru for his valour and commitment, Syed Ali Geelani said that he emerged as an ideal, symbol of dedication and commitment.

Pro-freedom Leader said that they sacrificed their precious lives for the better future of the nation. He is an ideal and his determination and dedication set precedence for our young generation.Today on his 4th anniversary prayer ceremony was organized to pay tribute to our hero, however state authorities laid curbs, restrictions and arrested hundreds of political activists. We strongly condemn police action and it is sheer bullying and highhandedness, said Syed Ali Geelani. Warning Indian authorities for their oppressive and suppressive measures, He said that all these arbitrary measures won’t deter us from pursuing our mission, nor we will forget those valiant sons who have sacrificed their precious lives for a sacred cause & our better tomorrow.India with its military might is desperate to suppress our mission but despite all this our next generations is more determined, vigilant and sensitive enough about freedom movement, said Syed Ali Geelani.
