Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia today said that AAP Government would withdraw thousands of cops deployed in the VIP security of politician and put them to nab the drug Mafia to curb drug supply chain in Punjab. “I have learnt that thousands of Cops in Punjab are deployed in security of Akalis & other politicians, AAP Government will withdraw it immediately and put all the cops to curb the drug mafia to break the supply chain of drugs”, Sisodia, who was here to address political meetings of AAP Candidates Dr Sanjiv Sharma (Jalandhar Central), HS Walia (Jalandhar Cantonment), Gulshand Sharma (Jalandhar North) and Darshan Lal Bhagat (Jalandhar West), said. “Today one of the Punjabis raised doubt of my being Deputy Chief CM and asked how could I be Deputy CM of Delhi, as Deputy CM of Punjab when comes to this city is always surrounded by hundreds of cops and even roads are blocked to welcome him (Sukhbir Badal)”, Sisodia said adding that he apprised the persons with AAP’s policy to curb VIP culture in Punjab, which has already been done in Delhi.
Akalis, who have nexus with drug Mafia would be put behind bars, where they would be amused because of being surrounded by hundreds of Cops, for which they have become habitual, he added.Deputy CM of Delhi said that AAP government has already made the power tariff lowest in the country by abolishing corruption of Power Supplying Companies and same would be done in Punjab to make electricity cheaper. 1Be it Education or Health sectors, AAP Government has brought massive improvement in Delhi within two years and what Delhi Government did in Delhi in two years, in Punjab AAP Government would do within one year.Unveiling the business-friendly policies of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Sisodia said that in Delhi AAP has already abolished Inspector Raj to win the confidence of stake holders and even reduced the Value Added Tax (VAT) on as many as 42 items from 12.5% to 5%.  It is surprising that Business Community posed faith in the AAP policies and as a result Revenue collection even after reduction in VAT, increased substantially.Earlier, Sisodia went for morning walk at local Burlton Park and met several morning walkers to discuss current political situation as well as their grievances in the current regime of SAD-BJP.
