Terming it an another example of ‘political terrorism’ by Badals, State Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gurpeet Singh Waraich today condemned the attack on the buses of a transporter, who dared to give competition to Badals’ transport Mafia. Smelling humiliating defeat in the upcoming assembly polls, Badals have resorted in using their Mafia to threaten everybody who dares to compete them in their business and latest episode of attacking the buses of Hermes International by Badals’ Mafia is an example that Badals dam care about the law & order situation of state. It is more shameful for Badals and Punjab Police that in spite of this “Gundagardi” in broad day light, Police did not dare to book the attackers and rather did not give any heed to the complaint lodged by the victim transporters. Waraich said that AAP Government would provide level playing field to every businessmen to end the ‘monopoly’ of Badals’ Mafia in every business be it Transport, Liquor, Cable or Mining. It is pertinent to mention here that last evening, when buses of Hermes International reached at Rajpura, Badals’ bus of Indo-Transport Company, which was following it, forcibly stopped Hermes’ buses and broke the windowpanes of buses apart from beating the staff. Even the police was immediately informed, but under the influence of their political bosses, Cops remained mute spectator and did not lodge the ‘legal and valid’ complaint of the victim staff.
