Best Improved State of the decade presented to Chief Minister

Prem Kumar, Chief Minister, was presented country’s prestigious magazine India Today’s ‘Best Improved State of the Decade in the Country’ 73rd Award in the row, from S.Roy, Chief Secretary, who had received the same on November 1, 2012, from Union Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar in New Delhi, here today.Chief Minister said that State had made tremendous progress in various sectors and had come up as a role model in the country. He said that the State had won over six dozens of national and international level Awards during past five years which were testimony to the spectacular achievements State had made during these years. Dhumal dedicated the Award to the people of Himachal Pradesh who had been the sole driving force behind all such achievements. He also thanked the officers and officials of the State Government for this remarkable achievement of the State.S. Roy, Chief Secretary said that the Management of the India Today was appreciable for the spectacular achievements of the State and maintaining good growth rate. Gulab Singh Thakur, Public Works Minister, Shri Narender Bragta, Horticulture and Health Minister, Shri Ram Swaroop Sharma, Vice Chairman, HP State Civil Supplies Corporation, other senior officers of the State Government were present among others on the occasion.
