At least five persons were killed in road accident on Mughal Road during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday. The deceased include two non-locals from Uttar Pradesh. Reports said that a passenger Sumo (JK18/2571) was on way to Kashmir from Jammu region when it skidded off the track near Poonch on Mughal Road. “It fell into a deep gorge,” police sources said.The police from Jammu division rushed to the spot and recovered five bodies from the gorge. A police official identified the deceased as Muhammad Danish (31), s/o Folu Mian, r/o Siri Sultan Ali UP; Gurri (34), s/o Shiver Kumar, r/o Shipuri Aligarh, UP; Seerat Ahmad Dar, s/o Mohammad Yousuf Dar, r/o Yaripora Kulgam; Bashir Ahmad Lone, s/o Mohammad Ahsan Lone, r/o Arreh Kulgam.
