Punjab BJP secretary, Vineet Joshi today said that the Akali-BJP coalition is stronger than ever and it is all set for a third consecutive vicotry in the forthcoming assembly elections. Taking a strong exception to the recent comments of Capt. Amarinder Singh regarding the coaliton, Joshi said that the Congress has always been practicing the policy of divide and rule and that is why Congress’ hands have been stained with blood. The nation and Punjab’s electorate have rejected the Congress and hence Capt. Amarinder is resorting to such tactics so that he can come back to power. Vineet Joshi said, “In a short span, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has been able to achieve what the Congress failed to in 60 years. During its two successive terms in office, Akali-BJP coalition has carried out record developmental works”.
Joshi further said, “Bharatiya Janta Party and Shiromani Akali Dal are two different parties with adhering to a same ideology and have been running governments at the Centre as well as in Punjab since decades. At the same time the Congress is reduced to mere 40 seats in the Lok Sabha and is struggling to save its existence. This time around, the Congress is yet again set for another loss in Punjab. Capt. Amarinder Singh knows this well and hence is enacting dramas to fool Punjab’s voters. People of Punjab are acquainted with Congress’ anti-Punjab stance and Captain is all set for an embarrassing loss”.
