Punjab Revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said AAP party Supremo and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's hit and run days are over now and he would soon land in jail for his disparaging and defamatory statements against senior statesmen.Referring to a Delhi high court order on Wednesday which declined stay on criminal defamation proceedings against Kejriwal preferred by Union Finance minister Arun Jaitely, senior Akali leader said now the AAP party leader stood exposed for using delaying tactics. He said Kejriwal would now be immediately held accountable for all his malicious and mischievous statements solely aimed to injure the reputation of his political opponents.Jailtely had slapped civil and criminal defamation cases against Kejriwal, Kumar Vishwas , Ashutosh , Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chadha  and Deepak Vajpayee for unwarranted attack as counterblast to CBI search of bureaucrat close to AAP.

Delhi High court has ordained that both civil and criminal cases would proceed simultaneously in the concerned courts while Kejriwal was keen that criminal case should wait till civil suit is decided.Describing Kejriwal as obsessive liar, Mr Majithia said Kejriwal derives sadistic pleasures by hurting the reputation of established public figures. “Finally, long arm of justice is catching him fast despite his dilatory tactics to prolong litigation. Justice would soon be done to victims of Kejriwal’s constant slandering campaign which has become his nature”, added Majithia. The Akali leader said the very fact that Kejriwal had failed to present an iota of evidence  against MrJaitely and was only abusing the process of law by moving for stay proceedings on flimsy  grounds.Majithia said,” You (Kejriawal) can’t escape law. You have to face it soon and pay for your sins”.
