Though the Defence Ministry claimed to have conducted surgical strike last night across the LoC, Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) president and MLA Khansahib, Hakim Muhammad Yasin on Thursday said that war is no solution to any issue and asked both the neighbouring countries including India and Pakistan to start a dialogue to resolve the Kashmir issue.Talking to KNS, Hakim Muhammad Yasin said, “Dialogue between the stakeholders is the only solution to Kashmir issue. Both the countries are nuclear powers and they need to think that war between the two countries can prove dangerous to South Asia especially Kashmir.”
He said that both the countries believe that the war can’t prove anything but can only prove dangerous to South Asia. “The two countries need to think that Kashmir is an international issue and can be resolved through peaceful talks. In earlier wars, nothing was achieved but proved dangerous to both countries. The people of Kashmir are peace lover and demand the resolution of Kashmir issue through a peaceful dialogue process.”He said that the people of Kashmir are already facing hardships due to the ongoing uprising and war between the two countries at the same time can further deteriorate the situation in Valley. “We (Kashmiris) lost everything on all fronts and the surgical strikes at same time can further add hardships to the people here,” he said.
