Union MoS and Punjab BJP chief Vijay Sampla has praised Indian government’s stance against Pakistan in the aftermath of the Uri attack. Sampla said, “By aggressively putting the matter at the UNGA, boycotting SAARC summit, reviewing Indus treaty and withdrawing MFN status granted to Pakistan, the government has succeeded in alienating Pakistan on the international front. After this stand, the nation is rallying behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif is facing extreme embarrassment in front of his own people”.Sampla said, “External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj made a strong statement at the United Nations and effectively put forth India’s case. Following in India’s footsteps, even Bhutan and Bangladesh have withdrawn from the SAARC summit scheduled in Islamabad. This has given a message to the entire world that the international community is with India”.
