Challenging suspended MLA Devender Sehrawat to present any evidences against his baseless allegations against senior AAP leaders, Women leaders of AAP today said that AAP leaders would join any impartial probe by the Women Commission.Alleging that AAP MLA Devender Sehrawat was playing in the hands of opposition parties to defame women of Punjab, Head of the Women leaders Prof Baljinder Kaur, Yamini Gaumer, Anu Randhawa and Rupinder Kaur Ruby demanded that Punjab Women Commission should take action against Sehrawat as the latter has failed to present any evidences to prove allegations against AAP leaders.“Since Sehrawat had made highly defamatory remarks against the women of Punjab and even failed to present any evidences to substantiate his allegations, Punjab Women Commission should take strict action against him”, women leaders said.

Women Commission should get registered an FIR against Sehrawat so that he could not dare to defame the women of Punjab, Kaur said adding that Sehrawat also tried to defame the National Leaders of AAP, for which a criminal defamation case has already been registered in the court of Chandigarh.Sehrawat are playing in the hands of Badal and his character could be ascertained from the fact that his own father has lodged a complaint against him for eve-teasing, she added.“We have already lodged a formal complaint with the Women Commission and now it is up to it to take strict action against the person, who attempted to defame women of Punjab without having any evidences to justify his allegations”, she said.AAP women leaders said that Women Commission has called AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Durgesh Pathak and they would visit the Office of Commission on the given date, they added.
