After facing criticism from her Republican counterpart Donald Trump, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Monday said she did not reveal her pneumonia diagnosis earlier because she did not "think it was going to be that big a deal".In a brief telephone interview with CNN, Clinton, who left early on September 11 memorial service on Sunday in New York, said that she was now "feeling so much better" and that she would be back on the campaign trail in "the next few days."She said she told others at Sunday's memorial about her ill health but she did not make a public statement until matter went out of the hands.Later, Clinton cancelled two days of events in California after her personal physician said that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday and was being treated with antibiotics."I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely," Lisa R. Bardick was quoted as saying.

Clinton said she was committed to being at the memorial."I could feel how hot and humid it was. As soon as I got into the air-conditioned van, I cooled off and very quickly I felt better," she said. Clinton also revealed that she did not listen to her doctor's advice to rest for five days. Instead, she continued her schedule with two publicly known fundraisers, two media interviews, a national security meeting and a news conference."If it happens to you and you are a busy, active person, you just keep moving forward. As soon as it became clear I could not power through, we put it out," she told CNN.
