Accusing Badals for conspiring to disturb peace & communal harmony of the state, which could be evident by the recent attacks by Akalis goons on AAP rally at Malaut, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that instead of worrying for the security of the people of Punjab, who are in fear due to deteriorated law & order, Badals are more worried about their own security. “Seeking extra security by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for his family members including his son Sukhbir Badal and his (Sukhbir’s) Brother-in-day Bikaram Majithia, has proved that how much Badals are feared from the public wrath in the poll campaign”, AAP MP and Head of the Campaign Committee, Bhagwant Mann said. “I am sure people of Punjab, who are fed up with the Akalis would not allow Badals in their villages and this fear forced Badals to seek more security for them”, Mann said.
“While Badals are creating terror by conspiring attacks on AAP leaders, they are seeking more security for themselves”, Mann said quipping whether Badals are there in Government to protect people of Punjab or to protect themselves. “What message Badals are giving to the people of the state who are already living under threat due to worst last & order situation”, Mann added. “Badals should first ensure security of the people and then demand more security for themselves,” Mann said adding that Badals have virtually changed the definition of democracy from “Government of the People, by people and for the people” to “Government of the Badals, by the Badals and for the Badals”.
