District Development Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting to review the progress under district plan 2016-17, state and centrally sponsored schemes of Education, Health, R&B and Youth Service and Sports (YSS) department CPO, Parshotam Kumar, CMO, Dr Anwar Bhat, Xen PWD, Amar Singh, DYSSO Jarpal Singh and various officers of other departments were present in the meeting.CMO apprised the DDC about the achievements registered by the health sector under district plan and centrally sponsored schemes like NRHM, RKS, RBSK and JSS. He also informed about the status of ongoing construction works of health centres at Gool, Ramban, Batote, Sangaldan, Bahihal, Ukhral etc.While reviewing the progress of R&B department DDC directed the Xen R&B for close monitoring and inspection of ongoing construction works and said that no laxity in this regard will be tolerated.Threadbare discussion was held on physical and financial status of the roads like earth working, shingling, metalling, CD works and blacktopping. The DDC directed the officers to speed up the work on the ongoing roads and achieve the requisite targets with in stipulated time period.He also reviewed the progress of SSA, RAMSA, and other schemes of education sector.The DDC directed the concerned officers to put in concerted efforts for effective implementation of the various decisions of the DDB and also asked them to achieve the set targets well in time.
