Pratibha Singh urges for speedy commissioning of Steel Processing Unit

Member of Parliament, Pratibha Singh has urged the Union Defence Minister, A.K Antony to personally intervene and take appropriate action for resolving the pending matter of setting up proposed Steel Processing Unit of Steel Authority of India Limited at Kandori in District Kangra. In a letter written to the Union Defence Minister, Smt. Pratibha Singh said that the construction work of this unit was in advance stage of commissioning but it had been suspended due to some security reasons given by Field Ordinance Depot, Kandori. She urged the Union Minister to give special relaxation in this matter so that this unit could be established in time bound manner. She said that this project would provide direct and indirect employment opportunities to the un-employed youth besides giving to boost industrial development in the State.
