The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister,Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that the way poltical wind is blowing in favour of SAD in Punjab, it is clear that the SAD-BJP government would emerge victorious at minimum of 95 seats. Addressing an impressive rally after laying the foundation stone of widening of Barnala-Mansa-Sardulgarh-Sirsa road at a cost of Rs. 71.73 crore, S. Badal said that the lifestyle of the people of Punjab has gone several notches up due to the spate of development centric projects executed in the state by SAD-BJP government.Launching scathing attack on AAP and Arvind Kejriwal, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the whole political structure of AAP is centered on lies & deceit which deserves to be rejected by the epeople of Punjab. Taking a dig at AAP leader Bhagwant Mann, the Deputy Chief Minister said that jokes don’t fetch votes and also that for pnce people of Punjab fell into the net of AAP during lok sabha polls but not anymore.He also said that the Captain Amarinder Singh government during 2002-2007 did not initiate even a single pro-people welfare project or scheme worth mentioning. He said that Captain didn’t ventured out of his comfort zone to listen to the problems of people and he didn’t even know that whether sardulgarh lies in Punjab or Pakistan. Making an important announcement, the Deputy Chief Minister said that after urban sewa kendars, now rural sewa kendars would also get going in the second week of September.
He also declared that a plan has been formulated to give concrete shape to the streets & drains of villages throughout Punjab at a cost of Rs. 30000 crore during course of next 5 years. Describing record of previous 9 years of SAD-BJP government as matchless, he appealed to the people to vote for hat-trick of victories for the alliance.The Deputy Chief Minister listed shagan scheme, pension scheme, atta-dal scheme, free bicycles for school girls, free health insurance scheme, free power to farmers, free power worth 200 units to SC-BC families, distributing sewing machines to women and sports kits to youth, opening up of sewa kendars, 2000 free medicine centers, much mantra tirath darshan yatra, establishing memorials, new loan scheme for farmers under which interest more than original amount cannot be levied, interest free loans to the farming sector up to Rs. 50000 through co-operative banks, disbursing of gyms, dharamshalas in villages, power surplus status for Punjab and making Punjab no. 1 in road network as the shining glories of the SAD-BJP government.
