District Development Commissioner, G N Balwan, today chaired a meeting of district officers to review the arrangements being put in place for Independence Day celebration 2016. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma, SSP, Sandeep Wazir besides other senior officers of Revenue, Police, PWD, PHE, Forest, MC, PDD, Education, Traffic, Army, CRPF, CISF, Sports, Health and Fire & Services.Threadbare discussion was held on all necessary arrangements and the concerned departments were asked to make sure that services related to their respective departments are put in place well in time.The preparations regarding cultural programme, march past and sanitation were also reviewed.The Police and other security agencies were asked to ensure fool proof security arrangements besides maintaining law and order.The DDC enjoined upon all the officials to work in close co-ordination to make this event a great success.
