Demands accidental hospital at Ramsu, immediate sanction of critical care ambulance

MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani has expressed serious concern on the increasing number of deaths in road accidents, and demanded that steps be taken to prevent accidents.They also demanded action against those who cause accident due to rash and negligent driving.Vikar Rasool was speaking during zero hour in the house today he added that Ramban Banihal sector of Jammu Srinagar national highway is the worst hit of road accidents resulting in the loss of precious human lives every day but successive government's fail to chalk out comprehensive plan to control alarming rise of road accidents in this area. Vikar Rasool said that quick response team of local youths is doing remarkable job in rescue operations but due to lack of rescue equipments they fail to reach out to the accidents victims before they

Vikar Rasool Wani urged upon the government to ensure the availability of sanctioned critical care ambulance for Banihal and take action against responsible for delay in its purchasing despite the availability of funds.Meanwhile legislator also demand fulfillment of vacant posts in health institutions of Banihal and construction of accidental hospital at Ramsu area on national highway besides providing staff to PHC's at Nowgam, Buzla and Alnibass area of his assembly.He further demands the sanctioned staff strength and buildings for newly sanctioned 20 medical sub centres as well as the speed up of work on under construction PHC's of Ukerhaal, Mangith and Neel where people are facing acute shortage of medical facilities.
