Sr Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister Congress today flagged off 4th Yatra for Baba Sidh Goriya Swakhan from Baba Kaliveer Devsthan Kangrail, Raipur Domana Constituency.Being organised by Baba Kalu Chib, the yatra is observed every year in which thousands of devotees participate with great religious fervor and gaiety.Speaking on this occasion, Sham Lal said that religious event like this spread the message of brother hood and peace.He also said that such celebration also help preservation of our rich cultural and traditional ethos for the prosperity. It also helps in acquainting our youth with their age old culture and traditions.Sham expressed the hope that divine blessings will strengthen the bonds of amity and bring peace and prosperity in the state.
Sham lal expressed anguish over the recent attacks on the Hindu worship places. He said that there is some conspiracy behind these unethical incidents. He further said that it is surprising that the attacker's particularly choose to attack only Hindu temples."In these two incidents, the attacker is reportedly mentally retarded and whereas in the other the attacker is drug addicted and it is a matter of great concern that both these individuals have chosen to attack Hindu temples. From it appears that there is some foul play in both these unpleasant incidents, “he added.Sham said that it is astonishing that only the worship places of Hindu's community are being targeted and he asked state government to probe these incidents thoroughly from all angles.
