Expressing his deep concern on the indifferent attitude of government towards the R&B sector of Ramban district particularly Banihal constituency chief whip of congress legislative party in the house and MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani said that government has no concrete plan to ensure the completion of ongoing roads and bridges in his assembly segment. He added that Banihal is very backward and hilly constituency of Jammu and Kashmir state and needs special attention in respect of its developmental activities and road connectivity is the prime concern of the people there.Vikar Rasool informed the house that various ongoing schemes under PMGSY including Banihal Mangith, Hewagan Danmasta, Danmasta road, Phagmula road, Nachlana Mahu road and balance work of Adhal Pogal and Shalgad Panchal roads are still incomplete despite of the fact that all these roads have already crossed their targeted completion period.Vikar Rasool Wani demand improvement and upgradation of Neel Chamalwas road and macadamization of all link roads in Banihal constituency.He further requested the minister for R&B to personally intervene for inclusion few roads of Banihal constituency in CSR project and direct the concerned agencies to expedite work on sanctioned road projects under NABARD and PMGSY.In his reply to the issues raised by MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani R&B Minister assured him that his demands will be considered.
