Advocating the need of providing quality and activity based education to the young generation in order to achieve the desirable change in the materialistic system of the society MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani said that modern system of Education needs to reviewed and focus should be given to values and technology based education.Vikar Rasool was speaking today in question hour and ongoing discussion on grants of education Department here today.He urged upon the government to make higher secondary and high schools sanctioned in previous cabinet functional so that the childrens living in far off and remote area may not suffer more.He alleged that most of the sanctioned SSA and buildings waits for completion due cost escalation and non provision of land compensation amount.He suggested the government to format comprehensive policy of engaging land owner as class 4th employee or provide land compensation to them.Vikar highlight the contribution R eT's Rehber Taleem Teachers in streamlining the education system.He said that this multi dimensional scheme has proven fruitful in strengthening the school education and decreasing the drop out level rate.He urged upon the government to enhance the initial salary of R ets upto 10000 upto confirmation so that they can also fulfill their daily needs and live life with dignity.MLA Banihal also demand on time regularization of Rehber Taleem teachers, Maktab Teachers and youths engaged under adult education sechme Vikar Rasool demand funds for construction of sports Stadium at Banihal and demand enquiry in delay of time bound completion of Govt Degree college Banihal.
